Inspired Musings
I first saw the Teen USA videa about a week ago on YouTube. The first thing I thought when I saw this was, "wow this girl is kinda dumb...she should have stoped after the first couple of words that came out of her mouth." Although the interview on the Today Show was probably rehersed, I felt for her. I could understand how someone whould get nervous, mess up there words, and not understand what they themselves are saying. I had sympathy for her becasue I can understand how everyone makes mistakes and how our nerves can somehow get the best of us. I gave her props on trying to save herself from that embarrassing downfall. Interesting enough, as I was begining to write this, I was watching the VMA'S, and Miss South Carolina came on; she basically stood up there and made fun herself. I thought it was a little hypercitical that she said all this stuff during the interview, and then turned around and made fun of everything that she just treid to cover up.
